Matt and Joanne’s wedding could not have been more perfect. The day called for rain on and off and as the girls were getting ready the sun came out showing us that it was going to be a great day. And that it was. The day was filled with laughter, hugs, tears, and of course craft beer. After the ceremony downtown Detroit in the church where Joanne’s father grew up and her parents were married, we headed to Weller’s Carriage House in Saline for the reception. When we pulled up it was a sudden downpour, but the rain cleared and we were able to capture some more beautiful images on the amazing grounds at Weller’s. They spent hours (ok maybe months) etching the state of Michigan into custom glasses for guests to keep after the reception. They also used growlers (where are my beer lovers out there??!) from all over the state as part of their table decor-so unique!
Thank you Matt and Joanne for being so sweet and kind and having me with you on your wedding day. I truly enjoyed my time with your friends and family and being there to document your love story. I wish you many, many more years of love and happiness. Cheers!
