A Northern Michigan Engagement Session

I met Steve and Kayla at their adorable farm in Empire, Michigan for their engagement session in late August. I knew as soon as I pulled up that I was going to love this session. Steve is a hops farmer in Empire and also has an array of animals at the property. Kayla is a teacher (so of course I knew I would love her too!) and we spent our session walking the property with their pups, checking out their Turkins (yes this is a real thing!) and laughing, lots of laughing. I had so much fun with this couple and I absolutely loved photographing them in their happy place. Kayla and Steve have such a sweet love and I don’t think they could be anymore perfect together. We were able to get to the beach just before a small rain began, and oh am I so thankful we did! I can’t wait to document their wedding next July in my happy place, Northern Michigan.
