Mr. and Mrs. Soltesz

I have literally known Rob, the groom, my entire life. Our parents are best friends, and we grew up vacationing together in Mackinaw. When Rob’s mother, Aunt Shirley, told me Rob was going to propose, I knew I wanted to be their wedding photographer. I wanted to be a part of such a special day for such special people. Rob and Kristen’s ceremony took place at The Inn at Bay Harbor. It was definitely a beautiful venue, and a beautiful day!

A huge thank you to my second shooter Katie for spending the day with me! You are awesome and I couldn’t have done it without you! I might have overdone the dress shots, but it was so gorgeous! And of course I had to take a lot of pictures of her shoes since I love shoes, and I loved hers! Rob’s wedding gift to Kristen were these bracelets engraved with little love sayings they say.    You are so beautiful Kristen!  “Father” Larry did a great job during the ceremony.     It was so hot that we had to stop for mojitos by the pool! As soon as I walked into the lobby at the hotel, I knew I had to get a shot of Kristen here and I think it turned out beautiful. So in love with this photo! We headed downtown Charlevoix for a few pictures and this clown jumped in the photos! As we were taking group photos the bridge went up and we ran to get this shot <3   When we went to leave for the reception, our bus driver asked if we could partake in his tradition, shotskis! Kristen and Rob’s wedding planner, Emerald City Designs, did an amazing job with the decorations. Their reception was held at the Dhaseeler Events Barn in Charlevoix, and it was awesome! I definitely would recommend it to anyone wanting a wedding in Northern Michigan!         The band did an awesome job and played all of the first dance songs live which was perfect!   Congratulations Kristen and Rob!
