A Mt. Hood, Oregon Destination Wedding
When Carly emailed me regarding her Oregon destination wedding I knew that I wanted to be there to share their love story. Not just because traveling to a new location is fun and exciting, but because of how she described their love. Carly wrote:
“While you could say that the rest was history, we have filled the last year and a half with so much life and love. We have tried new things, learned about ourselves, deepened our faith in times of frustration, and added a third canine member to our pack. No other person has ever challenged and supported me in the amazing way that Jordan does. Whether hiking up a volcano in a monsoon, swing dancing in the living room, or facing the unknown together, I know that life may not always be comfortable, but that with our faith and one another we can turn any situation into an adventure.”
Carly and Jordan have such a profound love for each other that watching them all day whether it was during their emotional tear-filled first look, listening to their hand written heartfelt vows, or watching them “wobble” together at the sunset while we were taking photos, was truly magical. I am so thankful and so extremely honored that they asked me to join them on the first page of their adventure together.
Carly ended her email to me by stating:
“We would love to have you join us on this special day. After reading lots of wedding blogs I know how important the right photographer is, and you seem like a great fit for our special day. We love your heart for travel and adventure, we love that your art captures the emotion of the day for future generations, and we love that you are a dreamer!”
All of that right there gives me all the feels. I am a true dreamer at heart who cherishes adventure and seeks out true love. Carly and Jordan’s wedding allowed me to share my love of adventure with my family and explore new places together. We will never forgot how wonderful an opportunity this was. Thank you again Carly and Jordan for bringing me across the country to share in such a wonderful day.
