A Detroit Engagement Session

I had so much fun with Alicia and Josh at their engagement session a few weeks ago. Alicia was referred to me from a past bride which is absolutely the greatest honor and Josh is actually cousins of another bride we found out during our session. It is always so crazy to me how small and connected we all really are from each other! Alicia and Josh currently live and work in the Detroit area so we met up there for their January engagement session that felt a lot like an October session. No snow and 50 degrees! It was positively perfect. They are getting married at one of my favorite places, The Leland Lodge, in Suttons Bay. I just adore everything about Northern Michigan and cannot wait to make my way back up there for their wedding. One of my favorite things about Alicia is her super contagious laugh and smile. She can make Josh smile with just one look. They have been together since undergrad (Fire up Chips!) and I am so excited as they begin their next phase of life together. I cannot wait to be there to document it all and hear Josh and Alicia laughing together all night long.
