Detroit Masonic Temple Fall Wedding

Jon and Susanna were married this past fall at the Detroit Masonic Temple. I have known the groom since I was 6 and went to high school with both of them, where they first met. They actually went to one dance together in high school, but didn’t reconnect again until later in life. I was so honored when Susanna reached out to me to shoot her wedding downtown Detroit at the Masonic Temple-it is always a gorgeous venue.

Their day saw every type of Michigan weather imaginable: sunshine, rain, hail, snow-you name it, it happened. Throughout all of the weather, one thing was clear, J + S couldn’t be happier. Once it started to really rain, we ran into the Detroit Public Library, which was perfect for Susanna who is an English teacher and loves books. The weather eventually stopped and we ended our portrait session on the rooftop of the Masonic Temple with gorgeous views of downtown Detroit. Thank you S + J for asking me to be a part of your wedding day-I wish you all the best.
