One month before their dream wedding at the Elberta Life Saving Station, E + S were in search of a photographer and I am so glad they ran across my work and found me. Having met in Chicago, but always vacationing in Frankfort growing up, the bride wanted to have a wedding day filled with sentimental pieces. From sharing their wedding date with her parents (40 year anniversary!) to getting married in the same location as her mother and grandmother, E + S’s intimate wedding day couldn’t be stopped-even with torrential down pours expected throughout the entire day. Although it wasn’t the bright summer day they were wishing for, we were able to get outside for the ceremony, pictures, dancing, and even head to the bride’s favorite place-the beach. I am truly honored to have been a part of E + S’s wedding day filled with love and tradition (keep scrolling to see the groom’s German log cutting tradition!). Next time though, get a smaller log! Congratulations E + S on the start of your new life together!
