Fall in Paris

When I went to Paris this fall, I also had the wonderful opportunity to work with this gorgeous couple. They are an adorable couple living in Paris and I reached out to them a few weeks before I left, and we were able to set up a shoot. I was so incredibly excited to work with them for this destination Paris session because they are just as sweet as they are beautiful.

Sometimes I am amazed at how life truly works out and all of the wonderful experiences I am able to have in my life. These experiences wouldn’t be possible if I didn’t take a risk and put myself out there and go against the norm. It is easy to follow along with what other photographers or creatives are doing and to not break the mold. But you have to do it. You have to envision the business and life you want for yourself and go for it. I knew I wanted to travel and this year I have traveled more than I ever have. Two trips to Mexico (for weddings!), Georgia, Disney World, Bahamas, Oregon, California, Paris and soon Costa Rica. I have learned so much more about myself and gained more confidence as well as more empathy for other cultures, new outlook on my own personal life, created new life long friendships, and learned to appreciate my time home with profound gratitude. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of these things if I didn’t ignore the noise around me and focus on what my heart was telling me. Oh and of course without my wonderful and amazing clients, friends, and of especially family.
