Classic Downtown Detroit Wedding

Alee and John were married this August at Port Detroit. They planned their wedding for almost two years, and when the day finally arrived, it couldn’t have been more perfect. I went to grade school with Alee and her sister Samantha, so for them to reach out to me after all these years to document Alee’s wedding was so special. Alee and John worked very hard on all of the details of their wedding, making most of them themselves or with the help of family and friends, which made their wedding even more special. We spent the afternoon traveling around Detroit (fighting 15 other wedding parties!) taking pictures at the iconic Detroit hot spots like the DIA, the Z Lot, but most importantly Wayne State where they both went to school. Alee and John are so in love with each other and they were so happy to finally be married! Thank you so much for asking me to be part of your beginning as a married couple.
