I don’t know if I can adequately put into words how special this wedding is to me. I can try, but unless you’ve experienced the Smoky Mountains, I mean truly experienced in a way so that your family’s history and stories are intertwined like the rivers flowing to join together, you won’t have all the feels like I do right now.
On the quiet side of the Smoky’s is a little place where Sara Jane’s Grandaddy and Grandmother have a deep, rich history called Townsend, TN. When you grow up vacationing to Tennessee to see your family and hear the tales of beautiful stories spun around the old, slow twang of a man who can bring you to tears and inspire you with every breath, it is fitting that you decide to bring your friends and new family to be to experience such beauty and love. That is one of the reasons Sara Jane wanted to get married in Tennessee, so that we can all experience the Smoky’s in a way that moves us. And I think we all left that weekend with a place in our hearts filled with more love than we could have ever imaged.
Thank you Sara Jane and Caleb for asking me to capture your love story. I know you could have asked anyone to do it, but I am so deeply honored and grateful that you asked me. You two could not be more perfect for each other, and we are blessed to have another “Cable” in the family whom we all love and adore. Congratulations <3
